NeW OrLeAnS! New Years & Sugar Bowl

We had so much fun!!!!

We flew out of SLC with a layover in Chicago and thankfully the weather was nice so we had no flight delays. We flew into New Orleans around 10:30 PM on New Years Eve. Looking out of the window on the plane as we were approaching the runway we could see fireworks going off every where. It was so beautiful to see that!! We landed and rushed to a shuttle to head to the hotel - we did not want to miss the midnight celebration. We made it just in time to celebrate with everyone on the streets! They had fireworks going off above the Mississippi river and lots of music. The streets were crowded with Ute's and Alabama fans...

(Me & Christy - we meet up with some friends)
What an amazing game!!! This trip could not have been any better!!! Other than our hotel issues - with them giving us a room with one king bed for four people and the hotel alarm going off at 1 in the morning for about 20 minutes. New Orleans was exactly how I pictured it. Good times!!
